We hope you are well as we isolate and progress through these difficult times.
With the snow melting and the ice going quickly from the Inlet we are usually excited for the return of employees and clients to Wright’s Marina. We would be anticipating the first launch of docks or boats once the proper yard conditions present. This year appears to be a little different. The COVID-19 has affected all of us in some way, and will continue to for the near future. Our business is centred around providing service to our cottage and boating friends. With the government’s recent declaration of Essential Workplaces within Ontario listing marine repair and fuel delivery among the businesses permitted to remain open, we have made the difficult decision to remain closed to the public until May 1st, 2020. As a family business we are deeply concerned with the health and well-being of our staff, customers and elderly community. It is imperative we all do our part to self isolate and practice social distancing to keep our loved ones safe. As time progresses we will reassess our opening date based on the advice and recommendations of provincial and federal authorities and the CDC. We will still respond to emails and telephone calls with questions, scheduling spring service/maintenance or to schedule launching of your boat. The response to the COVID-19 pandemic is very fluid, with information, recommendations and directives changing frequently. We will provide updates as these changes affect our ability to remain open. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we each deal with the daily challenges.
These are unprecedented times in uncharted waters… we look forward to your return, when it is safe to do so!

A very good decision, thank you for thinking about your family, staff and community.
Hope a vaccine is available soon, we miss our boating family.
Thanks Bobbi-Lyn, hoping you, Guy and your family are all well. Looking forward to seeing you once the boating season finally gets started.
